Announcing Airdrops

Announcing Airdrops

After we have soft-launched Atomflow Airdrop pilot on the 20th of January 2026, here we introduce it thoroughly. Each airdrop is equal to ELY 0.25 (you can check the current price of Ely on the Get Coins page, USD 149.5 at the time of writing). A person may only receive a single airdrop. The airdrop takes place before releasing Atomflow coins and network and runs in parallel with the coins private distribution. The ultimate goal of the airdrop is to decentralise coins’ ownership and Atomflow’s economic output later on. That is, looking at the larger picture, to help decentralise the economy and economic ownership, which we believe to be two of the ultimate goals of decentralisation.

In many ways though, Atomflow Airdrop is not a typical “crypto airdrop”. It is intended to be accessible to a wide spectrum of people not only those familiar with cryptocurrencies and crypto wallets or having high computer skills. Atomflow Airdrop is also intended to be global and suitable for people in a wide spectrum of countries. Moreover, the airdrop abides by the Atomflow credos, particularly:

  1. No middlemen, exchanges or other intermediaries.
  2. No paid promotions.

To achieve this, the airdrop process is designed to achieve a number of goals:

  1. An airdrop must be accessible to both non-technical and technical people without reducing security.
  2. Receiving an airdrop must be completely free (zero-cost).
  3. No signup or registration on any platform is required.
  4. An airdrop must be received in a direct exchange between the receiver and the Atomflow Team without intermediaries.
  5. Access to airdrops must be equally available to people well-versed in cryptocurrencies and people who are not.
  6. There must exist effective measures to ward off potential abusers who may want to receive multiple airdrops.
  7. Getting an airdrop must preserve the privacy of the receiver: minimal information is shared, no information is implicitly collected, the nature of information to be disclosed by the receiver must be clear and giving them out is voluntary.
  8. Airdrops are accessible as widely as practically possible.
  9. Limited access due to language barriers is minimised.

Receiving an Airdrop

There are two ways to get an airdrop:

  1. [Non-technical] Go to the Airdrop Request tool, fill in the form and send us your request as shown on the page.
  2. [Technical] Follow your preferred Airdrop Guide, generate your airdrop key and send us the request as shown in the guide.

The two methods produce the same result, namely, generating your airdrop key and your encrypted public key that you have to share with us to request an airdrop. The difference between the two methods is that the Airdrop Request tool is designed to make generating airdrop keys transparent so you do not have to know about encryption or key management. As such, it is suitable for non-technical people. It is important to make sure that you load the page on a secure HTTPS connection and that the link matches the tool’s URL exactly. That is, the link to the page is exactly https://atomflow.ai/airdrop/request/ (beginning with https:// not http://). Ensure that this link is shown in your browser URL box when you use the tool unchanged. To be safe, type the link manually or copy its text and paste it into the URL box.

Airdrop Guides, on the other hand, walk you through generating your airdrop keys manually using the GNU Privacy Guard software package, which gives you more immediate control over the details of the keys, for example, supported encryption schemes, etc. The keys themselves are standard PGP keys. So regardless of the method, you can always manipulate your keys according to the PGP standard, if you need to. Airdrop Guides are available for Windows, macOS and Unix operating systems. There is an Expert version for people already familiar with GnuPG.

Note

The GNU Privacy Guard software package required to be installed on your device if you choose to follow the Airdrop Guide as well as the communication protocols and software used for communicating with the Atomflow Team are all open source and developed by reputable communities and companies. You can easily verify this for yourself, if you are not familiar with the referenced software packages.

Of course, for communicating by email, any email application installed on your device or you access in your browser will do.

No software installation is required to use the Airdrop Request tool.

Important

GNU Privacy Guard software is an open source software that has been heavily used for encryption and decryption worldwide by people, governments and militaries since 1997. Airdrop Guides describe using the official GNU Privacy Guard software, which is part of the GNU Project and is an officially supported project by the Free Software Foundation.

All links in the Airdrop Guides to download the GNU Privacy Guard software point to official GNU Privacy Guard download websites. You can easily verify this on your own.

For people not familiar with the GNU Project:

The Airdrop Request tool runs completely on your local browser and does not send any information over the network. The tool does not execute any tasks other than generating your airdrop key and saves it to your local disc only when you choose to do so. The Airdrop Request tool is implemented using the OpenPGP.js open source library that has been widely used since 2014 and is currently maintained by Proton Mail. Modern browsers, including FireFox, Brave, Safari and others provide decent detection and protection against malicious websites. So use one if in doubt. You can also easily verify the Atomflow website using any service that checks website security, for example, Cloudflare Radar. Moreover, the tool is intentionally written in simple Javascript so that it can be audited by anyone having a basic knowledge of Javascript to do what it advertises to do easily.

Using open source software and established protocols achieves the first four goals we mentioned above. Using open source highly available software together with the Airdrop Request tool achieves the fifth goal.

Providing Equal Access

In order to provide an equal access and opportunity for people to participate in the airdrop, it is necessary that we prohibit potential abusers who may want to collect multiple airdrops for themselves from doing so. To achieve this, we resort to ensure that a person who submits an airdrop request is a real person who had not already received an airdrop. This is namely, goal number 6.

Naturally, there is some friction with goal number 7 (privacy preserving). Therefore, we may ask for further information when we receive an airdrop request in order to ensure that you are a real person who had not received an airdrop. We try to determine this guided by a simple principle: ask for the least amount of information and the least personal information that allows to do so.

The required information may be a public website, social network profile or similar information as long as it lets us know that you are a real person. If this kind of information is not available, we may ask for an identity verification in order to make sure that you are a real person.

Maximising Exposure

We announced the Atomflow Airdrop on the 12th of November 2025 and announced its start date on the 5th of January, 2026, which gave an ample time for people to know about and prepare for the airdrop. We also do our best to make announcements and communicate related messages in a variety of languages besides English.

That said, we do not make paid promotions, employ third parties or list the airdrop on crypto-exchanges as per our credos that have been already announced earlier. This of course limits immediate reach. However, we believe these are reasonable limits to achieve the goals listed in this post and our guiding goals of promoting true decentralisation and peer-to-peer exchanges.

Atomflow Airdrop is not an all-against-all competition although you have to succeed in getting your airdrop before others do as the quantity is limited. It is also a peer-to-peer way to decentralise coins’ ownership, which will be rewarding to all in a short time.

With this in mind, we encourage you to spread the word and invite people around you to the airdrop so you and them benefit as well as all other people who participate in the airdrop. Much like how other people’s participations and other people acquiring Ely and Atum is beneficial to you.

To stay updated on the airdrop and Atomflow and learn more and communicate with us and others, please join Atomflow group chat on SimpleX. It is anonymous and secure.

Good luck with getting your airdrop.
