Today we rename Atomflow’s Okean cryptoasset to Atum. Internally, the name is used for Mentorlycon’s C library and a certain machine model we use in Atomflow. These two components, in turn, contributed signficantly to different parts of Atomflow. To us, it seemed natural to have the tip of the iceberg and its base named the same to reflect that each and every part of the machine contributes to a bigger whole.

Atum is the name of the primordial god in Ancient Egyptian mythology from whom all other deities came to be ¹. It is associated with the sun. The word ‘Atum’ is thought to had been derived from the verb ’to complete’. Atum had been worshipped throughout Ancient Egyptian civilization.

The Atum cryptoasset completes the Atomflow infrastructure and is designed as a high-value cryptoasset with unique characteristics to appreciate rapidly. We are working hard to make Atum shine and endure as did the god it was named after.
